I love this sweater! I think that this sweater exudes a classic, elegant and complicated look. Using two different colors is ingenious. The white stripe provides the elegance. The V-neck is classic. The whole shirt looks complicated.

It even looks good with shades of the same color. The look is much more subtle in the picture above, but just as gorgeous.
The back is just as intriguing as the front. Even more so I think as you can see above. This sweater is done in 4 easy rectangles: the two sleeves, the white "belt" and the ribbed bottom. The directions include how to knit all the rectangles separately then piece them all together, or doing the sleeves and putting them together then knitting the "belt" and bottom in the round.
This sweater will work for any size as a stand alone sweater or a looser knit sweater over a tank-top or camisole, as is shown above.
