My Monday - Blooming in Reverse - Week 5

Week 32 = Knitting Facts
Day 6 = August 11, 2014

    
     First, I want to wish my best friend, Eileen, a Happy Birthday.

     Second, I have an update on my shawl. My brilliant k2tog idea from last week did not work. As you can see in the first picture, it decreased too quickly. It also centered the decrease in the middle of the decreases instead of to the left.

     After some tweaking I figured out that using short rows would work wonderfully, as you can see below.
