     The Craft Yarn Council has a fabulous website filled with goodies and resources galore. When you go to their homepage right now you will find a short video on the health benefits of knitting. See the video below.

• National Yarn Day, October 10, 2014
• Currently the site has a list of 12 classes that have been developed and are taught at Michael's craft stores across USA and Canada
• The Certified Instructors Program was started in 1982
• They have a Knitting Forum with 224 topics and 762 post
• They partner with Warm Up America! which knits and crochets blankets for those in need
• According to Craft Yarn Council, "Julia Roberts does it, so does Vanna White, Cameron Diaz, Sarah Jessica Parker, Daryl Hannah, Hilary Swank, Julianna Margulies and many others."
