Craft Stores and other options

Week 9 = Knitting Classes
Day 6 = March 3, 2014

group called Knitting for

Today is going to be a short and sweet post. I wanted to let you know about 2 other options for knitting classes and a surprise 3rd option.

     1. A.C. Moore, Joann's and Michaels are national craft stores that offer knitting classes. Depending on demand in your area, there might be a lot of class offerings or just a few.

     2. Your local yarn shop is also a great place to take classes. You can expect a variety in classes and instructors. Also, they have yarn on hand. Oh, Yeah!

     3. Have you ever thought of checking with your local museum? Surprised! The Charleston Museum, here in Charleston, SC, offers the occasional knitting classes based on their exhibits. They also offered the Indigo Dyeing Workshop that I took back on January 25th, where I dyed 3 hanks of yarn.

Question of the day
What is the best knitting class that you have taken?
