Day 2 = April 17, 2014
The most obvious place to go online for help with knitting is KnittingHelp.com. Good name huh? So simple and appropriate. As I go through this week I will let you know what level knitter each site is best suited for.
KnittingHelp.com is great for beginners with a few videos thrown in for the intermediate knitter. They offer free videos, premium videos (at a cost), forums and free patterns. The patterns are for all levels and some are quite cute. I love this one below and plan on making one for my tablet very soon.

One of my favorite things about the site is how they show increases and decreases. They actually have a picture of a long strip of knitting that has all the different types of increases shown and the same for decreases.
When looking through their forums, there are many threads that expand beyond the original question. Their shop is limited but includes: knitting needles, cd's and dvd's, instant watch (premium videos), books and knit kits.
Overall I love this site and use it often.
Knitting question of the day
